I liked this line in particular.

Blair has been changing and growing, and I think he could be a good cop. He'd be a bit different from most of the other cops, but he could do the job. If he wanted to. He wants to stay in Jim's life, but Jim's upstairs afraid Blair is going to make a different choice. Blair is brave to make the choice at the end.

I liked this story and the melancoly feel to it.
